Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for Arcata Wharf, CA

The Arcata Wharf is located in Arcata, Humboldt County, CA on the Arcata Bay, an area of Humboldt Bay. The center of the city is the Plaza, a large green space surrounded by bookstores and coffee shops and venues for outdoor music. When the Plaza was originally built in the 1850s it was a loading zone for goods going to the Trinity County mines. The Plaza is now the location of Humboldt County’s largest farmers’ market as well as multiple festivals, races and other events.
